And no, I didn’t fall asleep on the 0 key, I really do mean half a million books. And I don’t know about you, but I haven’t finished reading all of 2014’s books, or 2013’s. I work as a computer programmer; maybe if I was an author, I’d paint you a nice picture swimming in similes and alive with metaphors, but I’m a computer programmer, so forgive me if I get a little jargony here. We’ve got a thing called an analytic function that takes all the information available and gives you a result; and whenever it comes across new information, it reviews its result and updates it. ~ by Bob Marley or Bob Dylan? Not sure. A meme with this quote was in my newsfeed on Facebook the other day. It made me stop scrolling, I thought about it for a minute. It was nice… but also poignant. It made me wonder what I may have missed so far. I scrolled on. Today, when I finally pulled myself out of bed, I decided I’d better run a few errands and get some things for the house. Then I’d return home to get my day going. Last night was the fourth of July so I slept in later than usual, which was lovely. My holiday was spent at my cousin’s house who lives out in the country. I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but my book cover will knock most peep’s socks off. I’m not being big-headed; I’m just being honest. Easy for me to be boastful when I didn’t do the work. Well, I did one thing. I took the photo of the girl on the cover. That’s it. I’m not going to post it here because I don’t want to you to see my cover any other way than how it is right now. You know, I can’t even take credit for finding Zei. He actually did some work for my honey first… and then I kind of stole him. Zei helped us take our projects to the next level and I’m so grateful.
